My Time

This day has got me going
This type of spring time growing
I'm still smiling like I never cried
I'm still running like I've never died

I see rainbows full of summer time colors
And when I think of him I see summer time lovers
But come winter again when things fall down
I'll be wearing my same old frown

Trying to find something that's been lost
Trying to figure if our paths will ever cross
Trying to reach, to touch the stars
But sometimes they seem just too far...

I'm still playing like I never lost
Even though I know the cost
But I hear summer time coming
I feel the excitement running

I know another year is passing
I know soon again I'll be laughing
I feel my heart beating like it was never gone
I know the time is near, it's not too long
