Beautiful Monster

Ok, this was the VERY FIRST story I ever finished (Outside my head anyway). The only good story before Midnight Lullaby. (the rest were crappy and no one liked them.) The only thing different from the original copy of this story, is the fact that it will ALL be on my comp and it will be revised so the plot line is clearer by a large difference. (9/10 of it is on paper and I never got it on my comp, the stuff actually on the laptop is on my old one that doesn't work. so I can't retrieve it. *slams head on desk*) But I remember what happened clearly enough.

SO, the first chapter should be posted soon I hope. Keep your fingers crossed.

I think it's great. It's not about vampires. It's about legends, mystical lands, handsome princes and beautiful women...I'm in love with it. ^_^

I love those sort of stories!! They're so easy to get hooked on. I could read those stories forever, whether they have a happy ending or sad ending...

Prologue:


In the ancient days, magic could be found everywhere. It was in the wind and in the people themselves. Elves, dwarves, fairies, pixies centaurs, talking animals, Pegasus, nymphs, satyrs, druids, the wise future-telling prophets, a creature named beale who could change into the animal that their parents can at their own will. It was a fair kingdom, ruled by many a good King or Queen.

But one creature was not found among the happy people. Its name, was the vrazsh; A hideous creature that lived in the evil Black Forest. Legend said that it was so ugly that even its shadow would make you become one of them. Not only was it feared for that, but it had all the powers of every creature ever known. Only better. Prophets only predict when predictions come. The vrazsh could predict precisely at will. Beales can only change into their inherited one form; vrazsh could change into any form. Yet there was only one sign that showed they were changing into their real form; bright lights would shine from its body as it did so. Or, so the tale says.

Even that was not the end of this horrible myth. If you did not turn into one of them, the vrazsh would eat you alive. Still, some said it would be better to be eaten by it than to be one of them. So in their cradles, children were told this legend and taught to never enter the forest, and to shut their eyes and go back out if they did. The vrazsh were indeed an evil force. And they never left their home in the Black Forest. If ever one was found to be out of the forest, the person that discovered them would tie a rope or something around their neck. This stopped them from transforming, and then the vrazsh was bound by ropes and sent to the palace to await punishment. And punishment was usually death.

But all of this could possibly change when one fateful day happened. When something came out of the woods, and into the light.

Ooooh. Interesting! Nice prologue.

I'm getting it, but it's not coming out right...it sounds childish...maybe it's cause I'm not focusing.....idk.
