Easter Poetry Contest

enter a poem and et a prize. I will not tell what the prize is however.
Here are the rules;

1) One poem per person

2) Must be your own original work

3) doesn't matter if it's free verse, rhyming, a sonnet a haiku or anything, just a poem. doesn't even matter if it's stupid silly, lovely romantic, dark emo or any emotion.

4) must be submitted before March 21st, 2008 to receive any credit. I will judge on the 22nd.

5) have fun! ^.^

It may be cheezy but um well you said anything so here it goes...

Be my Free

Sparkle all you can
It could be your last time to shine
You have no limits no boundaries.

The only things that holds you back
Are those bounds, those suffocating chains

You forget that the bail has already been paid
And that you are free to go
Your holding yourself captive

Now just open that bird cage
Let fly your worries
Let loose your fears

Your execution is over
The sword has been laid down

For he is your salvation
Rejoice!
Yes he has risen!

eggs hidden around
constantly searching for them
they're everywhere

My eyes drift open sleepily;
They're dancing with the utmost glee.
I look around, what's that I see?
Eggs are lying all around me.
I jump up happily and loudly squee;
Is that the Easter Bunny by that tree?
I run right up to the cute bunny,
and pat his fur (it's so fuzzily!).
The bunny chuckles hungrily,
I look up at him as he screams, "YIPPEE!"
What was this? He's going to eat me?
I screech in terror angrily.
"DON'T YOU EAT ME!" loudly I scream,
Woah, I wake up with my face in ice cream.

Haha... made it up on the spur of the moment...

Humans always fail at not preferring their own works to everyone elses.
